Foster the Family is happy to partner with Tickets for Kids to provide access to events and activities to encourage family bonding and introduce children to different shows, sporting events, and sight-seeing opportunities. Foster the Family has the amazing opportunity to request a limited number of tickets to these events/activities for local foster, adoptive, and kinship families. The tickets come at no cost, however, we ask that you follow the guidelines below when requesting tickets.


step 1: Check out the current ticket offerings in our Facebook Group or e-mail Mandi for the list.

Step 2: Read the Guidelines for requesting tickets:

  • Tickets are intended to be used for foster, adoptive, and kinship families with the intent that children will be attending the event.

  • Ticket requests should be placed at least one week before the event date.

  • Each family can request up to two events per month.

  • Please make every effort to use the tickets given to you.

    • Please ONLY request tickets if you are confident you can use them.

    • In the event of an emergency and you are no longer able to use your tickets, please contact Mandi (mandi.brown@fosterthefamily.org) ASAP so she can find another family to take the tickets. We do not want these valuable tickets to go to waste. 

    • These tickets are generously donated to our program with the intent of being used. Unused tickets reflect poorly on our organization and may decrease our eligibility to request tickets in the future.

    • If you do not use the tickets assigned and do not give proper notice, you may become ineligible to request tickets again for a to-be-determined period of time.

  • Requesting tickets does not guarantee you will receive the tickets.

    • There are many other partner organizations requesting tickets through Tickets for Kids.

    • Tickets for Kids reviews all requests and distributes them amongst the different partners.

  • Post Event Reporting

    • Our organization is required to write a post-event report for Tickets for Kids.

    • After the event, please send Mandi a record of attendance within 48 hours of the event. This can be a photo, a story, comments from the kids, or a thank you to pass along to Tickets for Kids.

Step 3: fill out the ticket request form below

  • Please be sure you can meet all of the requirements above.

  • The form will be reviewed and the request will be submitted to Tickets for Kids.

Step 4: Wait for an approval/denial notice from Mandi.

  • This may take a few days.
